Unprogrammed Quaker Worship

The most basic belief of Quakers is that God can be known directly by everyone. No intermediary is necessary—no priest, preacher, minister, or book. This belief that God can, and does, teach us directly, give us guidance for living, and enlightens us, is the basis of Quaker Worship. It informs the way we conduct our business and is at the root of our Testimonies.

When we gather for Worship, we:

• Sit silently waiting to listen to God

• Rise and speak if the Spirit prompts us to share an experience or some teaching

• Listen if someone else is moved by the Spirit to speak

• Rest together in God’s presence

Sunday Morning services are at 10:30 AM
